Herbs and spices make any meal taste better

HERBES DE PROVENCE

This is an all-purpose herb/spice mixture that is popular in France. Mix up a good amount because you can use it in soups, salads and many other dishes.

INGREDIENTS

3 tablespoons marjoram (dried)
3 tablespoons thyme (dried)
1 tablespoon summer savory (dried)
1 tablespoon basil (dried)
1/2 teaspoon rosemary leaves (dried & crumbled)
1/2 teaspoon sage (crushed)
1/2 teaspoon fennel (seeds)

DIRECTIONS

Combine herbs, mixing well.

INSTRUCTIONS

Pack into an airtight jar (will stay fresh 4 months)
